Virtual RAB Meeting, NWS Concord - September 24, 2025

The Department of Navy invites interested members of the public to attend a virtual Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) meeting. The meeting will include updates and presentations with members of the RAB made up of representatives from the local community and the Navy. Federal and State regulatory agencies are also invited to participate, provide updates, and answer questions. The Navy encourages the public to participate and keep informed about the environmental cleanup at the Former Naval Weapons Station Concord (NWS Concord) in Concord, California. The virtual meeting will include presentations about the Navy’s environmental work and reports. The September 2025 RAB meeting featured topics are as follows:
1) Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Investigation - Field Work Update
2) Solid Waste Management Unit (SWMUs) 2, 5, 7, and 18 - Field Work Update
