The Navy has an extensive outreach program to communicate program updates and information to community members, provide opportunities for participation in public review of Navy documents, and encourage public participation in Navy meetings and events.

  • Attend a Community Meeting or Bus Tour 
    The Navy presents updates at scheduled community meetings to inform people about cleanup at HPNS several times throughout the year. In addition, the Navy presents program updates at local group meetings, hosts informational booths during community events, and offers bus tours each summer.   • Call the Navy’s Local Information Line
    The HPNS information line at (415) 295-4742 provides up-to-date information about outreach activities planned for the shipyard, including Navy meeting details and bus tour registration. The informtion line is in English, Spanish, and Cantonese.
