Public Meeting for the Proposed Plan/Draft Remedial Action Plan for Production Manufacturing Area, 11/19/20

This PP/Draft RAP recommends the implementation of land use controls to alert future users of the potential presence of buried munitions and explosives of concern (MEC), prohibit sensitive uses (such as residential, daycare, or hospital use), and prohibit land disturbing activity without approval from the Navy and the State as the preferred alternative for the PMA.  The Navy, in conjunction with the federal and state regulatory agencies, has determined that the preferred alternative is protective of human health and the environment and achieves the Remedial Action Objectives developed for the PMA.

Public Meeting
The Navy will host a public meeting at 7pm on November 19, 2020 to present the information provided in the PP/Draft RAP.  The meeting will be held virtually due to Covid-19 limitations, and information on how to attend the virtual meeting is provided in the links below. The Public will have an opportunity to provide comments in writing via email or direct mail, or verbally at the public meeting.  

Public Comment Period
