The subject Five-Year Review report will review the remedies for 22 Alameda Point Installation Restoration (IR) CERCLA sites in eight operable units (OU): OU-1 (IR Sites 6, 14, and 16), OU-2A (IR Sites 9, 13, and 19), OU-2B (IR Sites 3, 4, 11, and 21), OU-2C (IR Sites 5, 10, and 12), OU-3 (IR Site 1), OU-4B (IR Site 17), OU-5 (IR Sites 25 and 32), and OU-6 (IR Sites 26, 27, and 28) along with the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Oakland, Alameda Facility/Alameda Annex (FISCA) IR Site 02 Soil and the Marsh Crust. The review will evaluate and document whether each remedy’s performance remains protective of human health and the environment, and will make recommendations for improvements if the remedy is not performing as designed.

This is the first Five-Year Review for Alameda Point IR Sites 5, 10, 11, 12, 21, and 32; the second for IR Sites 1, 3, 4, 9, 13, 17, and 19; the third for Alameda Point IR Sites 6, 14, 16, 25, 26, 27, and 28; and the fourth for FISCA IR Site 02 Soil and the Marsh Crust.
