RAB Virtual Public Meeting Former Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach Detachment Concord, Ca

The Department of Navy invites interested members of the public to attend a virtual Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) meeting. The meeting will include updates and presentations with members of the RAB made up of representatives from the local community and the Navy. Federal and State regulatory agencies are also invited to participate, provide updates, and answer questions. The Navy encourages the public to participate and keep informed about the environmental cleanup at the Former Naval Weapons Station Concord (NWS Concord) in Concord, California.

The virtual meeting will include presentations about the Navy’s environmental work and reports. The May 2023 RAB meeting featured topics are 1) Site 22 – Upcoming Pre-Remedial Design Characterization Sampling and 2) PFAS – Summary of the Site Investigation Sampling.
The presentation slides will be available for live viewing to all who use the virtual format, while the presenters will be audio only. Community members who are unable to participate in the virtual meeting may review the presentations and provide input to the environmental restoration process by contacting the Navy contact listed below.
