From Monday, March 22 through Friday, March 26, 2021, the Navy will share radiological retesting information, collected at Parcel G, using an online virtual community room. Residents can attend from home to get the latest updates about Hunters Point Naval Shipyard (HPNS). Navy project managers will lead attendees on an audio tour of several stations. Posters, videos and other resources will provide information about HPNS cleanup and Parcel G radiological retesting activities, public safety standards and the regulatory process the Navy follows.

Derek Robinson, the Navy’s environmental program manager for HPNS, will moderate two live question and answer sessions on Thursday, March 25. Navy representatives will be available to answer questions from attendees. The live sessions will begin at 12:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and each will last approximately one hour.

You can access the virtual community room and live question and answer sessions at this link:

The Navy is committed to providing the community with updates on its continued work through meetings, email and postal mail, the HPNS website, program documents and a telephone line that provides information in English, Spanish and Cantonese. The virtual open house provides another opportunity to engage openly with the Navy about its cleanup program at HPNS.

If you have any questions, please contact the Navy’s HPNS Info Line at (415) 295-4742 or email info@sfhpns.com. The Navy’s HPNS website is regularly updated with progress reports, Navy presentations and other information
