The Navy continues to make environmental cleanup progress at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard (HPNS) Parcel C. This fact sheet provides an update on upcoming cleanup activities scheduled to begin in Summer 2025. The focus will be on Remedial Units (RU)-C2, RU-C5-1, and RU-C5-3, where soil and groundwater contamination from historic shipyard operations are being addressed.
